I see the following recipe for Quick Bread dated from September 26, 1993:
- 4 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 package of rapid rise yeast
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 3 teaspoons of margarine
- 1 egg beaten with some water
- 1 cup of warm water
The directions are in numbered steps as follows:
- Flour
- Warm water and salt
- Make a well in center and add some water and salt
- Then you add the dry yeast. Melt margarine and add the egg. THen you add the rest of the warm water.
- Mix it good and let it rise for 2 to 3 hours
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes
One additional note at the bottom that reads “Place it in a deep cake pan”. This one also got a “Very Good” rating at the top of the page.
Enjoy!
